Frank C. Ferraro is a capital markets executive and entrepreneur with more than 35 years of experience in the securities industry, spanning trading, investment banking, public-company advisory, securities technology, and transfer agency operations.
During his career, Ferraro served as President of Allied Stock Transfer, providing him with direct experience in shareholder recordkeeping, securities transfers, corporate actions, issuer services, and the operational responsibilities of a transfer agent.
Earlier in his career, Ferraro was involved in the development of one of the early online securities trading platforms during the transition of the U.S. securities markets to electronic trading. He has subsequently worked with hundreds of public and emerging-growth companies on capital markets, investor communications, and securities-related initiatives.
Drawing upon his experience in both transfer agency and financial technology, Ferraro founded Governa to develop infrastructure for the next generation of securities ownership and administration. Governa is designed as a white-label platform for transfer agents and other regulated market participants to support tokenized securities, digital shareholder records, wallet integration, governance, voting, transfer restrictions, corporate actions, and blockchain-based securities administration.
